OUR MAT PILATES CLASSES
Our mat Pilates classes are run by experienced and qualified instructors. They will take you through a flowing mat Pilates workout, strengthening the whole body whilst teaching you how to move well! To join our mat classes, you will need to be injury free, comfortable lying on the floor on your back, sides, stomach and doing exercises on your hands and knees. If you’re unsure, you might want to check out our Remedial Pilates classes, or get in touch with us.
Our classes run in terms, with options to purchase a term pass or attend casually. To purchase your pass, please see here.

Align
A mat Pilates class focusing on building the foundations of a strong body. Your instructor will take you through a full body workout with the emphasis on moving with precision and control. This class will take things a little slower, bringing more attention to your alignment, which in turn develops your technique. Choose this class to develop the foundations of core stability, improve posture, correct muscle imbalances and general body toning. Beginners start here.

Flow
Our Flow mat Pilates class builds on the foundations from our Align classes. This class will move faster and the exercises require a higher level of strength and control. Expect your strength and stability to be challenged! Choose this class once you have completed several of our Align classes.
MAT PILATES FAQ
-
Mat Pilates is a low impact, whole body workout. You will improve your strength and mobility and learn to move well! Our mat Pilates classes are suitable for those who have no current injuries, are comfortable getting up and down from the floor, can lie on their stomach, back, sides and be comfortable on their hands and knees. If you think mat Pilates is not for you, you might want to try our Remedial Pilates or Equipment Pilates classes instead.

We recommend everyone start with our Align class. Our Align class takes things a little slower, paying more attention to form. After your class, you can chat to your instructor about when it would be suitable to take on our Flow mat Pilates class.
